The MCS
Story
After returning to the workforce several years ago and with a background in management consulting specializing in curriculum development and educational services, I put my consulting skills together with my Spanish language skills and began teaching Spanish to K-5 students in my local school district using my own curriculum. A new passion developed and I decided to open my own language school using the curriculum and approach to teaching that I had perfected over the years with the encouragement of my students, their parents, and my family & friends.

Whether learning in the classroom or at home through distance learning, my workbooks and digital resources like interactive activities, games, or my Boom Cards, help students build the Spanish skills they need using educational tools that keep them engaged. I am inspired every time I hear from a teacher that using my resources has made their job easier and kept their students happy!

At Mi Camino Spanish, my mission is to demonstrate to kids, parents, and teachers that learning Spanish can and should be fun! With my Spanish teaching resources, my goal is to provide students with a solid foundation of Spanish language skills prior to entering the rigorous curriculum that they'll encounter in high school and beyond. Ultimately, I want them to have fun and learn Spanish along the way!
My Back-ground
I am professionally trained as a specialist in curriculum development and educational services. Formerly a Spanish teacher to kids in grades K-6th, I have over 10 years of experience in the classroom and I understand what it takes to motivate kids and keep them engaged!
Speaking another language, especially one as widely used as Spanish, has opened doors to a whole new world for me as I hope it will the students I teach either directly through my classes, or indirectly through my Spanish language teaching resources!
