Spanish Lessons & Curriculum for Kids!
Course Syllabus, Spanish Basics (Level 3)
Level III classes follow a dynamic lesson schedule based on group ability and need. Level III students have had several years of after school Spanish or previous immersion. Written and verbal exercises are designed for students with academic skills at grades 3 or higher and are not appropriate for younger students, even if these students are advanced Spanish speakers.
IMPORTANT! Lesson pace is based on teacher discretion and in some cases, not all content from the following lessons will not be covered. Lessons will be supplemented with additional activities and exercises such as verbal presentations, holiday and cultural activities, learning songs, mini-plays or small skits.

Depending on the grade or academic level of the student(s), we'll use one of the following workbooks (see workbook images to the right):

Methods of Instruction:
Throughout this course, students will use a proprietary, age-appropriate Mi Camino Spanish workbook. Course content will be delivered through verbal introduction and review, drills, role-playing, games, learning-based videos (see sample videos below), and written exercises that include age appropriate puzzles, Q&A, fill-in-the-blank, and reading comprehension.
Absences & Refunds:
Students will be allowed to participate in the first class free of charge. Should you decide that you would like your child to continue with the course, payment in full at the start of the next scheduled class is required. There will be no refunds for missed classes. If I should need to cancel a class due to illness or another unforeseen emergency, I will attempt to find a qualified substitute. If a class needs to be canceled, I will schedule a make-up class as soon as possible.
